On the second day of his visit to Ankara, Serageldin was welcomed at Bilkent University by Rector Ali Dogramaci, and at the Turkish National Academy of Science by Ahmet Cevat ACAR, president of the Academy. On his second visit to the Turkish Parliament he met with MP Mahir Ünal Head of Turkey/Egypt Inter-parliamentary group and Deputy Chairman AKP Party Group at Parliament.
The afternoon schedule comprised meetings with Ertugrul Gunay, Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Namik Kemal Zeybek, former Minister of Culture and Tourism.
