The International Social Science Council (ISSC) has invited Ismail Serageldin to become a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee to the World Social Science Report 2013. Produced by the ISSC and co-published with UNESCO, the report will focus on global environmental change and is scheduled for launch at the October 2013 UNESCO General Conference.
The ISSC is one of UNESCO’s five specialized Sectors. It aims to advance the social sciences in all parts of the world.
