The African Union Commission has selected Serageldin as member of the high level panel for the review of Africa’s Science and technology Consolidated plan of Action.
Established in 2002, the African Union consists of 54 African States. Among its objectives are the achievement of greater unity and solidarity between the African countries and the promotion of peace, security, and stability on the continent.
