Serageldin is invited to attend the third meeting of the Review Panel of the International Council for Science (ICSU) . The Panel is chosen by a Selection Committee of former officers of ICSU and is composed of 12 highly eminent persons, who are invited to review the mandate of ICSU.
The (ICSU) is a non-governmental organisation with a global membership of national scientific bodies (120 Members, representing 140 countries) and International Scientific Unions (31 Members). ICSU’s mission is to strengthen international science for the benefit of society The ICSU has three Regional Offices - Africa, Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean; The main ICSU Secretariat is based in Paris.
