Serageldin visited the British Museum again. This time he had an appointment with the new director, Hartwig Fischer, who prior to coming to London in 2015, used to be in Charge of the Dresden Museums in Germany. They met on a number of committees and that they both serve on, but it was the first time to visit him in his office at the British Museum.
They talked about how the evolution of technology was affecting the way exhibits were being presented, the different views on the repatriation of objects that were collected into museums long ago, and the Ebers papyrus in Leipzig.
