HE Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Egyptian First Lady and Chair of the BA Board of Trustees, throws a reception on Sunday, 11 April 2010, for the Nobel Laureates and eminent speakers in the BioVisionAlexandria 2010 Conference, held at the BA from 12 to 15 April 2010.
The reception is attended by Serageldin, in addition to the five Nobel Laureates who will participate in the conference, namely: Richard J. Roberts (Medicine 1993), Kurt Wüthrich (Chemistry 2002), Peter Agre (Chemistry 2003), John Robin Warren (Medicine 2005), and Eric S. Maskin (Economics 2007).
The theme of BioVisionAlexandria 2010 is New Life Sciences: Future Prospects. It aims to identify the new frontiers in life sciences that will vastly serve humanity. The Conference will focus on three major topics: Health, Food and Agriculture, and Environment. Each of these themes will be addressed by representatives of the greatest minds in industry and science, policy-makers and civil society activists.
