H.E. Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak officially launched the Peace Studies Institute of the Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement in an event that gathered Nobel laureates, intellectuals and business leaders. The Institute will be hosted and supported by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and will work closely with the University of Peace in Costa Rica. Peace Nobel laureates David Trimble and Betty Williams were among many renowned personalities attending the inauguration. The Institute for Peace Studies -- http://www.bibalex.org/IPS -- will seek to undertake studies and research, prepare material and case studies, and help the SMWIPM ground its actions in well-researched and well-studied material.
